    Secretary General :

As you know Afghanistan has 3 key tribes: Pashtun ( where some extreme Taliban and Al-Qaeda hides ) , Uzbek and Tajik, and the biggest group, the Pashtun, is also where many dissatisfied Afghan are because they hate the waste, fraud and corruption in Kabul, so why not a diplomatic approach bringing all the Tribal and Elders Leaders together and make a deal about Peace, Jobs and Growth ? which is what 95 % of the Afghanis want ?

To put unhappy Afghanis with Taliban and Al-Qaeda in one box is absurd , so why not separate them ?

You may be familiar with Prince Turki Al-Faisal,
http://www.digitalnpq.org/articles/global/396/10-09-2009/prince_turki_al-faisal , he has a good point of view , it makes a lot of sense.

Of course, we must remember that 15 of the 19 WTC hijackers were from Saudi Arabia and getting financial support from extreme sunni wahabi, and that the Mossad had most of the e-mail pass codes of the group ( Nick Berg) , so we must take all with a grain of salt, right?

Afghanistan needs a fresh approach , a new dialog with the Tribal and Elders Leaders , maybe some of the USA and EU military leaders there today don’t have the right plan ? we need more dialog and less accidental dead civilians like in the past 7 years.

One answer may be in this story , where we learn that foreign helicopters have been shipping insurgents into key areas of Northern Afghanistan to start conflicts and justify more Military and Security Contracts, more support personnel and more contractors…

And also in this other story about Hedge-Funds cashing in with I.P.O.’s , since many of these Hedge-Funds are and have been the biggest stockholders and profit makers in the biggest Military -Security-Intelligence Contractors in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars , the real war profiteers:

    Nice Mr. Rasmussen
This is an incredible way to communicate with people. I can see that you are moving on the right path and I wish you best of luck. Focus on Afghanistan is the most important, but at the same time I condemn civilian casualty.

This is very wise policy. It is also time consumeing. Pakistan should support these goals. Nato is dealing there with tribal sociecy so the task is wery wide and very demandeing. Natos precence in Afganistan is still the only hope for Afgan people. To get the time to educate them, the military has to keep the enemy away. Nato needs a large conventional army there to make it happen. Support for that must be bigger than it has been.
