Brazil
In my way of thinking about science can greatly help to reduce climate change, as has already been presented before enormous carbon filters that act better than trees.

Igor Gustavo, thank you.

Dear Mr Tanriverdi

I agree with you that personal responsibility is crucial in fighting climate change. Increased awareness about how we in our daily life and routines can reduce our personal carbon footprint is important. Many people can reduce their footprint several percentage with just minor adjustments.
On top of that I also think governments and the private sector must show the way. Currently we are exploring the possibility of reducing the NATO Head Quarter footprint by increased energy efficiency and reduced energy consumption.

Best regards,
Anders Fogh Rasmussen

I quote previous thought.

Often what passes through media is hardly twisted, and in particular when it comes from a so-highly-political-involved organization like NATO is.

I appreciate as well Mr Rasmussen's way of acting, because we needed to jump politicized intermediaries.

I really really appreciate Mr. Rasmussen's approach to making a connection with us "the small people" who institutions like NATO are meant to serve. State leaders should follow his example. This way of communicating and connecting, so direct, is very effective in avoiding all misunderstanding or the excess of drama that the media usually loads the news with. Bravo Mr. Rasmussen !!

This note is, this page visitors and climate change specialists.
.....
Last week I attended US Embassy Brussels Energy and Environmental issues in the U.S. at Dennis Leaf (EPA) in a live web chat. I asked a question there. My question was:

“Many reason Climate changing. In the world main countries leaders and academicians working- studying on this subject. My question is about, personal responsibilities. What we should do daily life for help reduce- solve this problem. Is there individual possibly to help to reduce this problem and how? Thank you.”

I got good answer from Mr. Leaf but unfortunately I have not find chat transcripts. Anyway I am putting this question here again why?
If reduce to Climate Change if has a four or five legs, important one’s is; personal act.

With general idea some important center, politic leaders, like a NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen – World Boss - and scientists would give to us what we should do in everyday life? Buying car, using some tool, for to buying some foods or beverage, simple WE NEED SOME ADVICE … Most people doesn’t know carbon, co2 higher or lower how effect to our daily life except whom studying on related subject.

Thank you.
