Laugh now and weep later. Consider how much wonderful, intelligent, and sensible counsel has been provided that has been mistakenly dismissed. The guidance speaker may remark, “Laugh right now. Later, cry.” It indicates that you may think it’s hilarious or foolish now, but you’ll be sobbing afterwards (when you understand what I’ve been trying to tell you).
Foolishly laughing away advice or thoughts that you may later come to regret.
I hope this helps.

This is NOT gang inferred. This was adapted from dramas in theatre. The meaning is simple, >> be a typical dumba$$ today for fun can hurt your opportunities in the future. Hence, smile (laugh) now cry later. Not everything is gang related, thats like saying all apples are red because a gang chose that color for their “colors” a+b not always adds to c

It’s a reference to immediate gratification. It implies you’re just concerned with the now and what makes you happy right now—laugh now—and then whatever happens later simply arrives. I’ll think about it later—cry later—whether it’s awful or good. I hope this helps.

It was a statement and symbol (the two masks) in California street culture that pointed to the ride of the bad life, drugs, overloading the mind and risking the body for the excitement of the night. Then, after this celebration, you pay the price later in the form of misery, tiredness, punishment, and regret. But we still do it because we don’t give…

Personally, I believe it means to not worry about anything in the future and to just appreciate things as they are now. If you remain optimistic, even if you have issues, events, or situations in your life that seem to be really horrible, they will never be as bad as they initially appeared.
Despite the fact that my head is running with the possibilities of what it may mean…..I believe I enjoy this one the most, after all, every cloud has a silver lining and all that.
I guess another interpretation may be “play now, pay later,” as in “enjoy the moment while it lasts and worry about the repercussions afterwards.”

I’m going to go with the biblical interpretation and suggest that laugh now, weep later relates to those going to hell.
I’m not a very religious person, but in my view, the “laugh now” portion alludes to doing whatever you want, being joyful, and doing whatever makes you happy, regardless of whether it’s right or bad. In Lucifer’s opinion, you should do whatever you want and disregard the laws and restrictions that God has established for humans to obey. And the “cry later” portion relates to the fact that if you do what you want and do not obey the principles of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ without thinking about the repercussions, you will end up forever burning.

It might be interpreted in a variety of ways, in my opinion. Perhaps, if something amusing occurs, or whatever, be in the present rather than stressing about your other troubles and sad situations.
