Junior Battle received a full scholarship to San Jose State University. Jason Lyle is a graduate of San Diego State University. Timo Cruz attended Humboldt State University and rose through the ranks to become a starting guard. Worm (actual name Jaron Willis) won a scholarship to San Francisco State University, where he spent four years as a point guard. Kenyon Stone graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in Communications. Damien Carter went on to beat his father’s Richmond High School scoring and assist records. Following graduation, he will attend the United States Military Academy at West Point.

One is an Arena League Football Hall of Famer. For a few years, one of them was a member of the Oakland Raiders. One of them spent many years as a professional basketball player in another country. Others participated in a variety of sports at college. Some students did not participate in sports after high school. I know this because one of them is my brother, and I know all of the previous players.

It says at the conclusion of the film…I believe a couple of them went on to play NCAA basketball, but I don’t think they ever played in the NBA!
