Oh, my goodness. I’ve just recently begun studying it, and it’s the MOST DIFFICULT SUBJECT EVER…sort of. Do we really need to know sin cos tan and other fundamental triangle formulas? so that we may make use of it in the future?
By the way, I’m in 9th grade and reside in Japan, so my school is probably different from yours.
In what grade level do you study trigonometry at school?
Thanks!
I’m starting to develop a headache.

Grade 8 students need not be concerned since math is the simplest subject of all.

Geometry is normally offered to sophomores at my school, unless they finished Algebra 1 as an eighth-grader, in which case they may take it as a freshman. Algebra 2 follows geometry and has replaced Trigonometry. Physics has always been taught mostly during the junior year.

I didn’t study trigonometry until I was in the eleventh grade. It takes some time to get your mind around. Trigonometry, on the other hand, is a crucial building component for Calculus and advanced mathematics.

Singapore is where I call home. Secondary schools are available here. In the third year of secondary school, we study trigonometry. This sort of arithmetic was also known as ‘A’ mathematics, where the ‘A’ stood for extra.

In my school, algebra is in 9th grade, geometry is in 10th grade, and trigonometry is in 11th grade, yet we began learning about sin, cos, and tan in 9th grade algebra.

Trigonometry is the simplest thing in the world, and I’m only in sixth grade, but I have to teach it to my eighth-grade cousin who doesn’t know how to do it.

My junior year of high school, I took Algebra 5 and Trig, and my senior year, I took Calculus. Good luck with the subject! I know it’s not enjoyable! 🙂

What kind of math is trigonometry?
Trigonometry is a subject of mathematics that deals with certain angle functions and how to use them in computations. In trigonometry, there are six functions of an angle that are often utilized. Sine (sin), cosine (cos), tangent (tan), cotangent (cot), secant (sec), and cosecant are their names and acronyms (csc).
How do you introduce a trigonometry to a class?
– Find the ratio of sides by measuring the lengths of the sides of sets of comparable right angled triangles. – Look at the link between these ratios and the magnitude of the angle. – Find the sine, cosine, and tangent of angles using calculators or tables.
Why do I find trigonometry so hard?
Trigonometry is difficult because it purposefully complicates what is fundamentally simple. We know that trig is about right triangles and that the Pythagorean Theorem is about right triangles.
